Hi! My name is Brittany Keller, and I am so excited to be joining Desert Garden this upcoming school year! I am originally from Ohio and moved to Arizona in 2022. This will be my 8th year teaching! I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University in 2016. I recently finished my Master’s degree in Gifted Education from ASU.
I discovered the Montessori philosophy while student teaching over 10 years ago. I fell in love with the hands-on approach, the independence and curiosity it sparked in children, and the simplicity and beauty of the classroom. Although I spent 6 years in traditional classrooms, my goal was always to become a Montessori guide. I had the opportunity to complete my AMS certification through the Arizona Montessori Teacher Education Program and become the lead teacher of a primary classroom.
I have always dreamed of finding a close-knit community like Desert Garden and am beyond excited to start my journey here.
