Organic Kitchen Manager
Valerie Wessel began working at Desert Garden Montessori in 2013. She joined Desert Garden as the Finance Director after being a stay at home mom for 6 years. She has worked in the financial sector for a variety of industries including IT, construction and small business. She chose Desert Garden for herself and her children because it lined up with what she believed in. Valerie now serves as the Organic Kitchen Manager. Her responsibilities include: creating the organic lunch menu, managing the kitchen staff and food preparation, inventory and purchasing, and serving the students delicious food every day.
