Dear MYHS Parents,

Here at DGM we are so fortunate to have many dedicated specialists on our teaching team who are passionate experts in their fields. Desert Garden Elementary and MYHS students will have the opportunity to benefit from classes in more than one elective area.

All students will have P.E. as part of their regular curriculum. In addition, MYHS will participate in a music elective. Students will be divided into groups based on previous performance/experience, music preference, and availability.

We encourage students to continue with their chosen instruments or violin from the previous school year. Please note that Band and Suzuki Violin require a contract / fee for instrument rental and include at-home practice requirements. All instruments must be taken home each day.

There are limited spaces for music electives and sign up will be on a first-come first-served basis.
