Hello! My name is Ms. Cathy and I’m so grateful to be part of the Desert Garden Montessori community, which truly feels like my second family. I’ve been a Montessori teacher for over 25 years and earned my degree in Chihuahua, Mexico. For the past 9 years, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to teach Spanish at Desert Garden Montessori in every program—from infants all the way to high school. Teaching Spanish is my passion, and I love creating a fun, engaging environment where my students can fall in love with the language and culture.
I’ve called Phoenix home for the past 20 years, where I live with my family and my two sweet dogs who are like my babies! In my free time, I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with my loved ones. I feel so lucky to be part of a school that values community, connection, and the joy of learning.
