Ms. Adele Bovis is returning to MYHS for the 2025-2026 year to teach Spanish and Civics. A Marylander originally, Ms. Adele has also lived in Peru and England; consequently, she believes that education should foster critical thinking, independence, and global awareness in students. She is a certified AVID educator with additional IB certification in Language Acquisition and is currently completing her Secondary (12-18) Montessori certification through the Center for Guided Montessori Studies. Additionally, she holds a Master’s in Cross-Cultural Communication and Education as well as dual Bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and Philosophy. Ms. Adele is a lifelong learner: when she’s not enthusiastically talking about conjugation she can be found reading up on current events and practicing new dance steps.
