Stephanie Frey

Ms. Stephanie completed a masters degree in Social & Cultural Pedagogy in the School of Social Transformation at ASU in 2024. During her program, she studied community-based and collective knowledge production, and eventually wrote her thesis on nonhierarchical approaches to living and learning. Before that, her love of learning and people has yielded a bachelor’s in elementary education, a certification in middle school English language arts, and an endorsement in multilingual learning.
Ms. Stephanie is absolutely delighted that teaching Design at MYHS will give her the opportunity to be present with humans that are learning to respond to their worlds with their unique perspectives, knowledges, and skills. She is super excited to bring her passion for community-based learning into the classroom setting.
Ms. Stephanie believes interconnectedness between humans and the natural world is vital to individual and collective wellness. She loves to hike, kayak, read, experiment with poetry, and meditate.
